Great location, just a short walk from the MTR and close to popular shopping areas. the rooms were small but had their own bathrooms, which was convenient. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and tips for exploring the city.
The cleanliness of the building was not up to par, with the elevator and common areas appearing old and dirty. the rooms themselves were also quite small, making it challenging to navigate if you had large luggage.

I recently stayed at a great hostel in a superb location. Ah Shan Hostel in Hong Kong provided a private room with all the amenities we needed. As a couple, we opted for two single beds for extra space, and it was a wise choice, especially for taller individuals. The staff at Ah Shan were incredibly helpful, allowing us to check in early and providing us with valuable local tips. The hostel's location in Mong Kok was ideal, with easy access to all forms of transportation, including the MTR underground trains right across the road. The surrounding area offered numerous dining options, ranging from convenience stores to various international fast food chains. it was a perfect overnight stay, and we would definitely choose Ah Shan again.
Nothing to be said. 🙅♂️

As those taking off early, we really appreciated the great location, just a short 5-minute walk from the MTR station. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy for us to grab a quick bite before heading out. the infamous Ladies Market was also conveniently located just across the street. the staff spoke good English, which made communication much smoother. the room, although small as expected in this crowded city, had ample storage space under the bed for our luggage. the free hot or cold water was a nice touch, and we found the lifts on the 14th floor to be quite efficient, despite the occasional queue.
Felt totally relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.

Convenient location: The hostel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. It is within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants.
Difficult to find: The hostel's location was not easily recognizable, especially at night. It took some time and effort to locate the building.
